My thoughts on Prop. 8!

My thought's on Prop. 8 are that, this proposition is about the children and about religious freedoms. We live in a democracy, and last time I checked that meant that the government is ruled by it's people, not by activist judges whom believe they are above the law. This proposittion does not take any freedoms away from homosexuals, yet if it doesn't pass it will infringe on the rights of us (parents) who do have an obligation as a parents to instill proper morals and values in our children, weather you are religious or not, that is something that is and always has been from the beginning of time, in order to create a moral and ethical society. A family with a mother and a father are the core of society.

When talking about religious freedoms, the government does not have a say in whom any church, chooses or not chooses to marry. That is separation between church and state. State does not control the churches and vise vera. Therefore, propostion 8, protects that separtion. It also keeps that fragile balance between the two. How is a nation able to keep it's balance, when it's people try to push it to it's limits until it crumbles to the ground? When a society rips out it's core building blocks, the ones that this nation was founded on, how is it to grow and not fall? I would urge all of you to think long and hard about where this country is going and to research the history of the rise and fall of nations. We have a duty as citzens to create a strong civilization for our children and our children's children. Wheather that be envirnmnent, social, economical and religious. If we want a strong country, then we need to respect our rights and our constitution. Again, if propostion 8 protects those rights, then I say "YES" on prop. 8.
